Linkella Acceptable Use and Fair Use Policy
These policies are not yet effective. Live checkout is not open.
Linkella helps adults publish useful profile pages, share links and receive enquiries. This policy applies to pages, media, forms, previews, QR codes, short links, imported material and linked destinations. It forms part of the Terms.
Content and conduct we prohibit
Do not use Linkella to host, promote, facilitate or link to:
- Phishing, credential theft, malware, deceptive redirects, scams, fraudulent fundraising or impersonation.
- Child sexual abuse or exploitation, grooming, trafficking, nonconsensual intimate material or sexual deepfakes of a person without consent.
- Sexually explicit material, sexual services or services principally offering adult sexual content. Links promoting adult-content services are prohibited at launch as well as direct uploads. Legitimate nonexplicit health, educational or artistic discussion is not automatically prohibited, but cannot be used to disguise prohibited material.
- Credible threats, incitement to violence, terrorist recruitment, targeted harassment, hate or abuse aimed at protected characteristics, or encouragement of self-harm.
- Doxxing, stolen personal information, unauthorised surveillance, privacy violations or nonconsensual publication of another person's sensitive information.
- Infringing or counterfeit material, piracy services, stolen access credentials or tools intended to evade legal access controls.
- Illegal goods or services, unlawful gambling, unlawful controlled-substance sales or transactions prohibited by applicable sanctions.
- Deceptive investment promises, pyramid schemes, fraudulent earnings claims, fabricated endorsements or materially misleading commercial disclosures.
- Spam, scraped contact-list campaigns, purchased permission presented as a creator's own opt-in, or marketing that ignores required withdrawal and suppression.
Do not submit prohibited material through forms or support channels. To report child-safety or intimate-image abuse, send the URL and necessary context rather than copying unlawful imagery into an email. Contact emergency services if someone faces immediate danger.
Privacy, forms and commercial disclosures
Identify the creator collecting information and provide a usable privacy notice. Collect only necessary information. Do not request passwords, full card data, identity-document copies, sensitive records or children's personal information. Obtain any required consent independently; an enquiry, gate unlock or email submission is not automatic permission for marketing.
Identify ads, sponsorships and affiliate relationships as required by law. Be truthful about products, credentials, testimonials, prices and outcomes. External merchants remain responsible for their sales and returns. Linkella's subscription checkout is not a payment facility for your customers and provides no creator payouts.
Fair use of service resources
“Fair use” here includes reasonable use of shared service resources. It is separate from copyright fair use below. Your plan's stated quotas and purchased profile capacity apply. There is no promise of unlimited storage, guaranteed throughput or permanently available redirects.
Do not turn Linkella into general file storage, hotlink media mainly for unrelated websites, relay third-party traffic unrelated to your pages, run unauthorised bulk automation or bypass rate, access, trial or quota limits. Do not load-test the service without agreement, create fake engagement, enumerate private records or evade enforcement with replacement accounts. Ordinary use of an available export or authorised integration is allowed within its permissions and limits.
We distinguish legitimate traffic growth from misuse. A popular profile is not automatically a violation. If use materially threatens availability, we may apply temporary proportionate limits, explain the affected resource and help you reduce the load or discuss a supported arrangement. Urgent protection may precede notice. We will not impose undisclosed retrospective overage charges or use this policy to take away a paid allowance arbitrarily.
Storage, attachment and other limits are shown in the service and relevant purchase information. We will disclose any future bandwidth allowance before purchase or give notice under the Terms before changing an existing allowance.
Copyright fair use and other lawful exceptions
You may upload your own work, work you are licensed to use or material covered by an applicable legal exception. Fair use in the United States and fair dealing or other exceptions elsewhere depend on the jurisdiction and facts. Neither attribution nor “no infringement intended” creates permission.
A US fair-use assessment considers purpose and character, the kind of work, the amount and significance taken, and market effects. There is no universal safe percentage or word count. Commercial use is not automatically excluded, and educational use is not automatically permitted. See the US Copyright Office guidance.
Importing an image, using an embed or linking to a public page does not guarantee the use is lawful. Respect applicable licences, contractual access restrictions and technological protection rules. Do not remove notices or metadata to conceal infringement. Our permission to host your material cannot grant rights owned by someone else.
Reporters should consider licences and applicable exceptions before alleging infringement. Creators may explain those grounds in an appeal. Linkella does not promise to determine every legal dispute conclusively. See Copyright, Abuse and Appeals.
Enforcement and questions
We may ask for clarification, warn, limit a feature, remove material, disable a destination or suspend/terminate an account in proportion to the seriousness and risk. We may act immediately for urgent harm and comply with lawful orders. Repeated infringement and attempts to evade restrictions may lead to termination. Refund and consumer rights remain governed by the applicable policy and law.
We will explain restrictions and how to appeal where lawful and practicable. Send reports or appeals to [email protected] using the instructions in our reporting policy. Good-faith reports, criticism and lawful refund requests are not violations.
